Decaf Papua New Guinea Siane Chimbu is sourced from farms organized around the Siane Organic Agriculture Cooperative (SOAC) located in the Chuave district within the province of Chimbu, Papua New Guinea.

Water-Process

About the Process

The green coffee is pre-soaked in water during the water process to expand the beans and allow for caffeine extraction. After that, the hydrated green coffee is immersed in a special solution of concentrated coffee solubles, which extracts the caffeine while preserving the flavor compounds.

The green coffee is re-dried and re-bagged for shipping once the caffeine has been extracted, and the extract solution is filtered of caffeine and recycled.
