About the Producers
Born in the lush landscape of the El Triunfo Biosphere Reserve, the largest evergreen cloud forest in Mesoamerica, Café Sierra Azul is a testament to the power of community. The cooperative was established in 2010 by young leaders and women in the region, determined to create sustainable livelihoods rather than seeking opportunities far from home.
Today, it includes over 300 members who benefit from access to better markets, financing, and valuable social projects. Every cup of Sierra Azul embodies their dedication and resilience.
About the Region
Known for its lush forests, diverse wildlife, and ancient Mayan ruins, Chiapas is a state in southern Mexico with a rich cultural heritage.
The coffee grown here reflects the vibrant and complex flavors of this region, making each sip an experience that connects you to the land and its people.
